Not at all, in order to expedite the date of the first consultation, the patient will be assigned to the first available Healthcare Provider.  Of course, a specific provider can be requested, but delays might then be encountered.

In general chronic pain symptoms do not require urgent evaluation, but some conditions do warrant an urgent consultation like: fractured vertebrae wherein a kyphoplasty can be done; terminally ill patients, etc.

Yes, Pain Relief Centers will fax back the referring clinics initial request with the “Fax-Back Confirmation” information completed.
