American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Board Certified

I started my nursing career as an RN at the Medical Intensive Care Unit at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where I worked for 7 years.  In my RN role, I was a rapid response nurse, charge nurse, clinical educator and preceptor.  I also taught nursing students at Tri-C which is a community college in Northeast Ohio where I was a clinical instructor.  I have always had a passion for learning and teaching but most importantly, caring for others.  My desire to learn propelled me to become a nurse practitioner which allowed me to be significantly more involved in the care of others.  For four years as a nurse practitioner I worked primarily in the field of gerontology and now my focus is on helping those with chronic pain.
